As per our district calendar, there is no school on Monday, 9/25 for Yom Kippur. We wish everyone a nice, long weekend!

Attendance matters! Consistent attendance is an important component of a student's success in school. We are asking all students and families to partner with us to improve student attendance! Please make every effort to get students here on time and make sure they are IN SCHOOL as much as possible.

The district will be launching a test/introductory message to your primary phone number on Friday, September 8 th at 6:00 p.m. Messages can be reviewed by clicking on the SchoolMessenger icon in the parent portal in PowerSchool. Any questions, contact helpdesk@newfairfieldschools.org.

Cons/MHHS and the Middle School will be on an early dismissal schedule for both Wednesday and Thursday. The High School will continue to operate on its normal dismissal. CONS/MHHS PLAYGROUND CLOSED 9/1-9/4 Please be advised that the CONS/MHHS Playground is closed for maintenance until Tuesday, September 5th. It is extremely important that it remains vacant at this time. We appreciate your cooperation.

September 5th is the start of the 2023-2024 school year! All principals will be sending out their welcome back to school letters next week. Teacher assignments and students schedules will be accessible from the PowerSchool Portal on Friday, August 25th. Instructions for logging into the portal will be sent to you in a separate comminication.

WEEKEND SAT DATES - If your Class of 2024 junior is interested in taking the SAT this upcoming August through December, copy the following link for information about dates and registration. https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/registration/dates-deadlines -- Many colleges and universities are now test-optional for admissions, but not all. SAT scores can also potentially qualify admitted students for increased merit aid.

Dear Families, It's our busiest time of year! The end of the year is coming quickly and it is PACKED with activities! Field trips, concerts, showcases, promotion ceremonies, art shows, and more! We appreciate all the family support and participation!

Meeting House and Consolidated's Field Day will be on June 7th this year! Please remember to send your child in with a water bottle, sunscreen, sneakers and comfortable clothes. Our P.E. teachers have put together a day filled with fun activities!

Early Learning Center's Fun Day this year will be on June 19th and it is a Beach Day theme! Students will need: Sunscreen, Hat/sunglasses, Water (we will have refill stations available), comfortable clothes and sneakers.

June is here and the last day of school is June 20th. It will be an early dismissal.

Senior Enrichment Experience is coming to an end! You are invited to the SEE Fair to support our students as they showcase their work on June 13th, 4:30-700 pm.

3v3 Wheelchair Basketball - Please see the information below for an exciting event on May 24th, next Wednesday, which is part of a senior's SEE project.

NGSS Testing - Juniors and Grade 5 students will be taking the Next Generation Science Standards this week (standardized assessment).

Dates to remember in May: May 26th - Data Day, early dismissal and May 29th - Memorial Day, no school.
